Sunwoo Jeong first pursued her musical studies in composition before completing her orchestral conducting degree at the Korea National University of Arts under Chiyong Chung. She was selected for the main rounds of the Tokyo International Conducting Competition 2025 and for the Korea Conducting Association Inc.’s Conducting Camp 2023. She has served as Assistant Conductor for KNUA Opera’s production of Don Giovanni and has worked with the Academia Classica KNUA, the KNUA Orchestra, among others.

In addition to opera, she has participated as Assistant Director in several musical theatre productions. She is currently preparing to continue her studies and career in Europe, pursuing both advanced training and engagements on international stages.
