Artistic and Music Director of the Orchestre Symphonique Étudiant de Toulouse and Principal Conductor of the Palestine Youth Orchestra, Palestinian conductor Lamar Elias is establishing herself as a rising figure in the world of orchestral conducting.

Born in Bethlehem, she began her musical journey with violin and composition before studying conducting at the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse under the guidance of Sabrie Bekirova and Tugan Sokhiev.

In recent seasons, she has collaborated with prestigious ensembles including the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the Nürnberger Symphoniker, the Pärnu City Orchestra, the Brașov Philharmonic, and the Orchestre Symphonique de Tunisie. Deeply committed to musical education, she regularly works with youth orchestras in France and abroad, including the Orchestre DÉMOS Toulouse and the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

Guided by world-renowned conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Leonid Grin, Sian Edwards, Martin Sieghart, and Johannes Schlaefli, she has been invited to participate in the Järvi Conducting Academy 2025.
