Hailed as the “Ingenious Greek Maestra” and “Ms. Dynamite,” Zoe Zeniodi has performed in venues like Carnegie Hall and has been a member of the prestigious Hart Institute of Women Conductors with The Dallas Opera since 2016. Ms. Zeniodi’s work as a conductor has taken her to every continent in collaboration with artists like Stephen Hough and Lise de la Salle, and with orchestras like Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Bogota Philharmonic, Vietnam and Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestras, Palm Beach Symphony, Tokyo Star Orchestra, Toscana Classica, South Czech Philharmonic, and Brno Philharmonic, with whom she has made several recordings. Ms. Zeniodi was the first female conductor with Opera Southwest, and has conducted opera and ballet at New Zealand Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Greek National Opera, and Onassis Cultural Center. A major interpreter of contemporary music, she has also led and recorded many world premieres. Ms. Zeniodi’s leadership positions have included Principal Guest Conductor for “Asia-Europe” New Music Festival (Hanoi), Artistic Director of Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Music and Artistic Director of Broward Symphony and Alhambra Orchestras, among others. Future collaborations include engagements with Opera Southwest, New Zealand Opera, Opera Queensland and Olympia Symphony Orchestra, WA.
