A few weeks ago, Glass Marcano met the chef Sabrié Bekirova during one of her conducting courses at the isdaT – Institut supérieur des arts de Toulouse.
I've been wanting to meet a teacher I could relate to for a long time [...] I started conducting and in a short time, which only lasted half an hour, I learned a lot, I surprised myself. There was a feeling between the Maestra and me. At the end of the course the Maestra said to me, "You have the same temperament as me, there's a connection", and I said to her, "Maestra, coming from you, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me."
