The Conducting Academy is back
Rebecca Tong and the students of the conducting class of the IsdaT in Toulouse are currently participating in the master class of Tugan Sokhiev and Sabrié Bekirova, accompanied by the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.
This prestigious master class is being recorded at the Halle aux Grains and will be broadcast on Thursday 25 March from 10am to 1pm and from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on the Facebook pages of La Maestra and the Philharmonie de Paris as well as on medici.tv.
On the programme, legendary composers of which we never tire: Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Mozart and Ravel.
Transmission and sharing in the framework of the 3rd edition of the Franco-Russian festival
Since the first Franco-Russian Festival, passing on the tradition of Russian conducting to the younger generation has been an essential challenge for Tugan Sokhiev and Sabrié Bekirova. Within the framework of this festival, the two conductors train and accompany young conductors with passion.
This taste, this very need for transmission, seems to me to be all the more important here in Toulouse, a city of tradition and excellence which has always been concerned with the training of young people.
