Ukrainian conductor Oksana Krotyk is building a dynamic profile on both the opera and symphonic stage. Recent highlights include her official debut in a subscription concert with the Lviv National Philharmonic as part of the Conductors in Ukraine project. She has also appeared with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, conducting Zhanna Kolodub’s children’s ballet Searching for Friends, and with the GSO Orchestra in the large-scale charity concert Prayer for Ukraine at the Kyiv Sports Palace. Further collaborations include performances with violinist Andriy Tchaikovskyi, featuring modern Ukrainian and early 20th-century European repertoire.

A graduate of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (Master’s degree, 2025, under the guidance of Prof. Dilyaver Osmanov), she combines a diverse symphonic repertoire with opera productions, including Verdi’s La Traviata, Hulak-Artemovsky’s Zaporozhets beyond the Danube, and a range of smaller operatic and staged projects. Following a masterclass with Theodore Kuchar, the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra invited her to return as a guest conductor. Krotyk has also taken part in a masterclass with Vitali Alekseenok.

Originally trained as a saxophonist, she is a laureate of national and international competitions, bringing a strong performer’s sensitivity to her conducting.
