Sophie Sze-Ki Mok recently served as the Assistant Conductor of the Asian Youth Orchestra assisting Joseph Bastian and made her conducting debuts in Taiwan and Japan. She has conducted orchestras like the Berlin Sinfonietta, the Orquesta de Cámara del Municipal de Santiago, and the Eastern Festival Orchestra. Mok has attended festivals and workshops of conductors like Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Mikko Franck, and Larry Rachleff. She currently serves as the Conducting Fellow of the Miami Symphony Orchestra as well as an Assistant Conductor of Frost Symphony Orchestra assisting Gerard Schwarz.
