
Danai Kavoura
Greek conductor Nefeli Chadouli is the 2025-2026 Fellow Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and an Associate Fellow of the Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship (2024-2026). Since 2023, she has led the Babylon Orchester Berlin, specializing in silent film accompaniment, and in 2024 was appointed Music Director of the Berlin-Brandenburgisches Sinfonieorchester.
Last season, she made her Philharmonia Orchestra debut in London, conducting Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, and has also led the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Philharmonic, the Staatsorchester Braunschweig, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, the Brandenburger Symphoniker, the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, the Leipziger Symphonieorchester, and the Sächsische Bläserphilharmonie, among others.
She gained valuable experience as an assistant conductor with the Berliner Philharmoniker, the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien, and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, working under mentors including Marin Alsop, Steven Sloane, and Matthias Foremny, and attending masterclasses with Johannes Schlaefli, Michael Sanderling, and Vittorio Parisi.
Chadouli studied piano and violin, earning her piano diploma with the Grand Prix and the Krino Kalomoiri Prize from the National Conservatory of Greece. She holds a master’s degree in Musicology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a bachelor’s degree in Conducting from the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, and a master’s degree in Conducting from the Berlin University of the Arts.
